TINA Wingfield, the Constituency Office Manager for Nick Griffin MEP, was in Brussels on Monday for a training seminar for Parliamentary Assistants.
The 9am – 5.00pm course was held in a committee room within the parliament building, and Tina was joined by husband Martin, who is Nick’s Communications Officer, Eddy Butler and Chris Beverley for the intense training session.
“The course was in two parts, with the morning section providing an introduction to the role of the European Parliament and its relationship to the European Commission, and the afternoon one covering the job descriptions of the Parliamentary Assistants,” said Tina.
“The handouts provided will help us when back in the constituency office as will the Parliament’s intranet, which our office has now been given access to.”
The MEPs team stayed on in Brussels on the Tuesday, keeping abreast of some of the European Office’s administration, while Nick himself was back in Britain presenting a cheque from his English Fair Fund to a deserving cause in Burnley.
