Ministers should come and witness this before sending our young men to war

NICK Griffin, chairman of the British National Party and Member of the European Parliament, visited Wootton Bassett this afternoon to pay tribute to those British servicemen being brought home after losing their lives in the war in Afghanistan.
It was a non-political occasion and Mr Griffin turned his back on journalists, refusing to answer questions from a handful of reporters seeking to try to make his visit controversial.
After three hours in the town, the MEP left for Brussels and the European Parliament. He told his website team:
“It was a harrowing afternoon. Government ministers should be forced to come and witness what took place today before they send our young men to war. Only then will they understand the magnitude of their decision.”
