THE biggest cheer of the evening at a packed hotel in Workington in West Cumbria came when Nick Griffin pledged that a British National Party government would invest in Britain’s nuclear future and tear down the wind farms that are blighting the Cumbrian countryside.

NICK Griffin MEP has written to the administrators Ernst & Young with his concerns over the conduct of the company in its role as Administrator for Nortel Networks UK after 378 employees were made redundant without consultation, notice or severance pay in lieu of notice.
