First donation to MEP’s Community Fund

AT the July meeting of Knowsley BNP, organiser Tony Ward was told of a local mother in desperate need of help.
She had a new born baby girl with a congenital heart condition which left her vulnerable a heart attack at any time.
She thought that she would be provided with a baby heart monitor for use at home to alert her if her baby’s heart stopped beating, but her local NHS said that this wasn’t necessary.
The young mum couldn’t afford to buy a heart monitor so the local British National Party stepped in to help.
When Tony Ward attended the North West Regional Organiser’s conference, he told his colleagues of the plight of the family and £107.43 was raised from the officials there and then to buy the monitor.
But when Tony visited the lady she told him that her baby had had a heart attack but had fortunately survived and that her local hospital had now, finally, provided her with a heart monitor.
“The words horse, gate and bolted spring to mind,” says Tony
“It’s disappointing that the NHS is in such a sorry state that the equipment could not have been provided in the first place.”
Now the money rasied has now been donated to the Community Fund of Nick Griffin’s North West Constituency Office and will go to help a good cause in the region.
